Purpose of the Job:
The shipping clerk will be responsible for the day-to-day facilitation of inbound and outbound deliveries while maintaining accurate records in the inventory management software.

Responsibilities:
Answer phones Direct drivers for shipments and deliveries Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming or outgoing shipments to verify shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Reports discrepancies.
Accurately update spreadsheets and inventory management software for inbound and outbound shipments Print BOL for outbound shipments Manage cargo pickup log Process freight and other non-inventory billing Collaboration with supply chain team regarding inbound deliveries Participates in safety, quality, security, and housekeeping programs as established within the plant Assist with inventory counts within the warehouse Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements:
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Must have a minimum of High school diploma or equivalent Internal Applicants:
must be in current role at least 1 year or have supervisor/HR approval to eligible Must be US citizen or have the right to work in the US Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred Previous PIV/Forklift experience required Ability to use basic computer functions:
Log into company computer system and maintain electronic communication, Type Accurately, Microsoft office Pass drug test and background check prior to employment Work overtime as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to read, write and speak English Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions Must possess strong communication and organizational skills and be able to multitask Must be self-motivated to work independently and meet targets Must have strong internal and external customer service skills Must work well in a team environment Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations Work Location:
